CJRW announced today that the agency’s executive committee of the Board of Directors has accepted David Martin’s letter of resignation as chairman and CEO, effective immediately. The executive committee is grateful for David’s contributions to the agency and wishes him well in future endeavors.
In conjunction with Martin’s resignation, the executive committee of the Board of Directors has appointed Wayne Woods as chairman and CEO on an interim basis. Woods will continue to serve as president of the agency and lead the agency’s travel and tourism efforts.
Wayne Woods is a 30-year veteran of the communications industry and has been honored as the Arkansas Advertising Federation’s Person of the Year. In addition, he and his brother Shelby have been at the forefront of economic development efforts in Arkansas for more than three decades.
